Wax Rabit Studios is set in the central west's colour city Orange, and is owned and operated by Oliver Lavender. Oliver has been local to Orange since 2001 and has a long history in and around recording audio, mixing and mastering. Wax Rabit Studios is equipped with the latest software and hardware and boasts a wide array of old hardware synths, groove box's and various other noise makers! The main recording software (DAW) is Logic Pro 9, but we also cater for Ableton Live 8, Reason 4 and Cubase 5. Other software includes Native Instruments Komplete 6, NI Maschine, NI Kore 2, Toontrack Superior Drummer 2.0 (with drumkit from hell) Arturia Mini Moog and Yamaha CS 80v and oodles more! Hardware includes, a Motu AD/DA, Event Opal monitors, Mackie MCU Pro, IMAC 2.8 Duel core, Novation 25sl MK1, M-Audio Keystation 88 hammer action midi contoller, Korg Kaoss pad 3, Hammond B3 Organ (a real classic!) Roland HD 1 V drums, Epiphone SG and Maton MiniMaton guitars and lots more.. Mics: lots of mics from AKG, RODE and SE.
