Velumount is a medical device with CE registration which complies with current European health and safety standards and essential requirements. Introduced to Australia in 2008, it has been registered and approved by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) of Australia. Velumount is an individually fitted palatal device which targets snoring and OSA. It is NOT a mandibular advancement splint or mouthguard and does not depend on your bite or dental structure when fitted. The device is fitted in one of our workshops which takes approximately 2-3 hours and includes full training in the handling of the Velumount. The one-off fitting cost is $395 and includes 3 devices and an after-care session if required. Following this, no further visits are necessary unless you wish to have after care assistance. Further devices are available for as little as $10 each if you purchase 4 or more. If you have been unsuccessfull to combat snoring or Obstructive Sleep Apnea with other devices you may like to use the Velumount. The chances of success is great.
