Life is sometimes hard and complicated. It is not always plain sailing. There are times when we experience stress, depression, anxiety, trauma, sadness, grief or difficulties in our relationships. We all need a safe harbour and a way to anchor ourselves. My hope is that we can sit together and have a conversation about how your life can be better. I believe you are the expert in your own life. My hope is that together we can explore what is happening in your life and look at your story and its meaning. Our conversations will allow you to gain insight to make the positive changes you want for your life. My counselling is based on the principles of non-judgement and empathy. I counsel individuals (both adults and young people) who want help with: Not feeling good enough which may present as: Depression Anxiety or Stress I also help people who are facing: Grief and loss Life?s transitions or Loneliness I also help individuals as they try to deal with Addictions. In addition, I work with couples facing relationship and communication issues. Together we will create a safe, confidential and trusting environment so that you will feel listened to and understood. I want hope to be in the room and for you to know you can ?come as you are.? I believe in working with the whole person. This way of working encompasses the physical, intellectual, emotional and spiritual aspects of you life. My desire is that you will see new possibilities for your life and gain some practical tools and techniques to help you on your way.
