In 1956, David Cathels purchased N&A Fruit Distributors, which had been in operation since 1892, making us the oldest existing produce wholesaler in the country. Over the years the company evolved to provide not only apples but nectarines, cherries, apricots, peaches, pears, plums, avocados, mangoes and citrus fruit. Through a well established network of leading growers in the premium growing regions, the company has grown to become one of Australia's leading tree fruit providers. Today, David's sons, Rob and Ian Cathels manage the business. Rob manages the business from the Sydney Markets, focusing on the needs of customers while Ian works at the farm level, directing the orchard's operations on a daily basis. Rob and Ian Cathels credit their success and growth to the carefully selected and experienced team who manage the diverse and integrated divisions. - Brands:
