The essential aim of the martial arts is the cultivation of character. Hence, the martial arts are not sports and are more than the practice of self-defence techniques. Walsh Martial Arts Australia is a specialist teaching school dedicated to the quality instruction of the techniques, traditions and philosophy of Tae Kwon Do and Hapkido. Our school is approved by the World Kido Federation (the martial arts regulatory body sanctioned by the South Korean Government) to teach the traditional Korean martial arts" Grandmaster Terence Walsh 8th Dan Black Belt (Korea) Sydney, 2012 Alan Lau is a Branch Instructor for Walsh Martial Arts Australia. Mr Lau began his taekwondo training in 1996, and commenced training under Master Andrew Walsh in 2000. Classes are held Tuesday and Thursday nights 7-8pm. Feel free to drop by the class at Ultimo Community Centre for a chat before or after class. You are especially welcome to watch part or all of a class to see if it is right for you. - Opening Hours:
