    The Western Warriors Judo Club is the No.1 Judo Club in Western Sydney. We are continually growing in numbers and producing excellent results at all tournaments including the recent Nationals. Our Judo is traditional in origins but our techniques are leading edge. We value respect and safety above all. Nationally accredited instructors teach all classes. All instructors are also volunteers this is why we are able to keep our class prices so low which are currently only $10 Casual and $150 for 10 week school term. Judo session times are as follows: Monday 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm Wednesday 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm Thursday 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm Friday 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm Saturday 12:00 am to 3:00 pm Come and join this exciting sport of Judo, you will learn skills that will assist you for the rest of your life. Judo is a combat sport where the aim is to overcome one's opponent by the use of throwing techniques (nage-waza), holding techniques (osaekomi-waza), including arm-lock techniques (kansetsu-waza) and strangle techniques (shime-waza) which are performed by seniors players only. Judo also involves striking and other joint lock techniques but these are not used in competition or randori (free practice). They are preserved in Kata (pre-arranged forms). The practice of Judo develops high degrees of stamina, strength and flexibility, while also developing very effective self-defence skills.
