Soothe sessions are very different to your average personal training session. For starters your trainer is not a drill sergeant screaming orders at you. Your Soothe trainer works with you in a positive, encouraging way. We want you to enjoy getting healthier, stronger, more flexible or whatever it is you're keen to improve. After your full Biomechanical (Postural) Assessment in session 1, from session 2 onwards your Soothe sessions are completely customised to your needs and wants. You can choose any of the following to focus on in your sessions: Pilates Generally focused on strengthening the core (particularly the Transverse Abdominus and Pelvic Floor), back and Glutes, with a small amount of stretching also. Yoga Generally focused on lengthening tigher muscles, strengthening the core and legs, and letting go of stress. A much greater emphasis on your mind rather than just the physical. Corrective Exercise Generally focused on strengthening underactive muscles and releasing/lengthening overactive muscles. Often uses equipment like foam rollers and resistance tubing. A Combination Combine 2 or 3 of the aspects above. This is highly recommended in order to get the benefits of different ways of training.
