Our Mud bricks are made only with clay, straw and recycled paper leaving out cement which is the largest contributer to C02 emissions with in the building indusrty. We have a range of different sized Mud bricks to choose from, but we also make Mud bricks to the size you need. Just let us know the dimensions of the Mud bricks you require and we'll make them. The Mud bricks are made on flat ground using form work. The end result is a perfectly smooth brick.The straw and paper that goes into the Mud brick not only reduces the weight of the Mud brick but also increases the insulation values. Placing *Thermal mass materials inside your home, such as Mud brick/earth is like a battery that stores heat and cool. *Thermal mass is a term used to describe the ability of building materials to store heat (thermal storage capacity). The basic characteristic of materials with thermal mass is their ability to absorb heat, store it, and at a later time release it.
