THE NEW WAY TO GET FIT! Pole Plus is a pole dancing studio based in the Hawkesbury. The studio is located behind Aldi McGraths Hill. It is fitted with 10 spinning or static poles and 4 different sizes to suit all pole dancers. It also has large waiting room for you to warm up and relax before class. At Pole Plus our classes are "G" rated and designed to teach you the fundamentals of pole dancing for fitness. Our aim is to make fitness fun in a friendly environment. Pole dancing is for everyone, no matter what your fitness level is. No prior dance experience is required. Our instructors at Pole Plus are certified personal trainers, professional dancers and pole instructors. They follow a carefully developed syllabus taught to you over eight weeks. At the end of the eight weeks you choose to perform your very own pole routine and then move up to the next level. POLE PREPARATION BEGINNERS This class introduces you to the fundamentals of pole dancing. It is taught in one hour lessons weekly for eight weeks. No prior experience is required as all fundamental moves for pole are covered. You will learn a range of moves such as, spins and climbs; explore being upside down on a pole and strengthening, toning and flexibility exercises. INTERMEDIATE 1 SKILLS Students must complete pole preparation beginners to participate in this level. You will start focusing more on strength building exercises and flexibility. This will assist you in higher levels and build a good foundation of strength. You will be spending sometime upside down, sitting up high on the pole and spin combinations. INTERMEDIATE 1 DANCE You must have completed Intermediate 1 Skills or doing them both in the same term. This class will give you a great cardio and strength workout. Over the 8 weeks you will learn a fun routine and learn how to link moves together. INTERMEDIATE 2 SKILLS Students must complete Intermediate 1 Skills to participate in this level.
