Students at Green Point Piano Studio are taught by Wendy Love who is a qualified and experienced piano teacher. Wendy will introduce you or your child to the wonderful world of music with patience and humor in a safe, relaxed and friendly environment. Private one-on-one lessons which take into account each students' age, ability and time available for practice allow for each student to progress at their own pace. All students are encouraged to learn from a variety of music books so that practice time does not mean playing the same piece over and over - this includes students who are preparing for examinations! At Green Point Piano Studio students are taught not only to read music but to be musical. Right from the beginning students are taught to be independent players by learning for themselves how to play their pieces. Note reading, rhythm, technique, theory, aural training, sight reading are all incorporated into lessons. Every student is considered special at Green Point Piano Studio and each is treated with respect and with an understanding that they will all learn at their own pace and in their own way. A separate waiting room for parents and visitors means students having their lesson can do so without any interruptions. The use of computer software for note reading and rhythm reinforcement, recordings to play along with and recording facilities for students to make their own CD each year are just some of the extra things that add up to motivational fun lessons at Green Point Piano Studio.
