Singing lessons at Ayama Music focus on you as an individual, using fun and playful techniques to guide you towards embracing your inner voice! At Ayama Music the lessons are composed to fit your needs, whether you are looking to celebrate the sounds you've got, go deeper into a private resonance, or establish basic techniques to speak, perform and preserve your voice. Owner Ayesha Mehta is a classically-trained singer and voice teacher who has performed jazz, contemporary, western classical and experimental sound works in Australia and internationally. She holds a Bachelor Degree in Music and vocal performance from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. She has been involved in a number of unique and diverse musical outfits including The Lumiphonic Creature Choir (a ground-breaking multimedia pop band); experimental sound creation with Belgian dance choreographer Arco Renz in Taipei; performed solo at venues including Bar Me/The El Rocco Jazz Cellar (Sydney), and music venues around Taipei, Taiwan, such as Sapphos de Base, Citizen Kane, RoxyRoots, RoxyJazz, Lilis, and China Pa. She is the co founder of the monthly interactive 'listening' event Stage Time & Wine at the Red Room in Taipei. She has been teaching for over 5 years both privately and through music schools. She is the founder of the music school Ayama Music (www.ayamamusic.com), which specialises in exploring the voice. - Opening Hours:
