Kids music classes offered: MusicPlay 1 Challenge, delight and explore 0-5 year olds. Weekday mornings. Creative 30 minute sessions for kids and their grown ups that nourish your childs development, potential and sense of fun through musical play. In these sessions we do lots of song and dance covering all aspects of music while introducing the children to a large assortment of musical instruments and styles. Sessions will challenge their creative skills, delight their ears, and explore sound in many magical ways. In this class the littlies learn by copying the older kids, and most importantly they all learn through YOU, so you are helping them immensely if you join in too. You might just surprise yourself and open to your own musical abilities! These early classes will build a solid musical foundation and heartfelt love and appreciation for music. MusicPlay2 Inspire, create and grow School aged children weekday afternoons Creative 30 minute sessions for kids. Parents are encouraged to stay and play too. Nourishing your childs musicality through games, song and dance, Percussion and tuned instruments with a large emphasis on voice/listening and rhythm. Sessions will inspire your little musician to want to create more and you will see their musical awareness grow. Once our musical self is tuned in loud and clear its time to integrate further, learning the language that is musical notes. Note reading and writing is slowly introduced, making a smooth transition into private music lessons on instrument/voice and your schools band program. There is no practice or homework in these sessions, simply a ridiculously fun learning environment in which to grow, understand and love our musical selves.
