Making sure your child grows up to be a well rounded individual is about more than intensive coaching in one or two subjects It's about ensuring they understand and enjoy their entire curriculum and are confident in essays and exams, as well as getting outside and playing some sport. That's why i set up All Around Tutoring. My aim is to help my students excel at lessons, at sport and at life. I have taught junior and secondary school over the past 30 years in English, Maths, Geography, History and PE. I also hold a Graduate Diploma in Remedial Education. I am an Accredited coach, coaching soccer, athletics, softball, hockey, swimming, cricket and netball and have coached teams to a state level (as well as being a proficient skier). I also hold a Royal Life Saving Society of Australia Instructors Certificate.I have run state sports carnivals and have 30 years experience teaching PDHPE in primary and secondary schools. I have also managed and participated in a wide range of sporting excellence programs. For the 2000 Sydney Olympics I was a National Olympic Committee Assistant and Liaison Officer for Cayman Islands athletes between athletes, officials, Chef de Mission and Australian Hospitality. Over the years many parents have commented on my ability to really engage kids in their lessons by getting them interested and involved in the subjects. Parents who have despaired of their kids every doing their homework have been amazed at the results Ive been able to achieve. Thats because my aim is to help every student be the best they can be by engaging their mind, body and spirit. Available for all around tutoring after school and during school holidays.
