Emma has trained vocally for over 6 years, and completed several jazz courses at The Conservatorium, Sydney. She has performed as a singer for the last 4 years in Sydney, with a variety of very experienced musicians from acoustic duo's to 5 piece bands, locally to the city, across the country and overseas in Europe; from bars to weddings, birthdays and any special occasion. See her performing every weekend for a variety of different events and functions, including lounge bars and clubs, but also as Private and Corporate Entertainment. Emma Graves and her band can perform as a Guitar or Piano Duo/Trio/4tet +, depending on requirements, and can include strings or brass. They can take control and rock centre stage or they can set the ambience and blend into the background. They can perform during a Wedding ceremony just as they can provide the Reception Entertainment. Emma Graves has a refreshing sound, re-creating and bringing back to life some of the classic jazz tunes from Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Frank Sinatra, & Edith Piaf and blending through the Era?s with Eva Cassidy, Tom Jobim, Aretha Franklin. She whisks you off to Europe with some French, Spanish, and Italian favourites and brings you back to the modern-day with Norah Jones, to name a few. Her band set themselves apart by being so consistently reliable in their performances, in being so professional; knowing exactly what each venue and event requires, but also in their enthusiasm and very evident passion for their craft; they will ensure everyone has the most memorable and enjoyable time, again and again! Emma Graves has Performed on the Private Super Yacht M/Y Slojo on Sydney Harbour for NYE, Wedding Receptions on a Catamaran in the middle of Lake Macquarie, Arts Festivals in Central NSW, as well as numerous Hotels, Bars and Clubs across Sydney including The Woollahra Hotel, Quirks, & The Chamberlain Hotel, for starters!
