At 1346Venice we love simple, authentic American style food which will leave you wanting more. Whether it is our smoked meat, slow cooked pulled pork, juicy lucy hamburger or our signature house made barbecue sauces, we do the simple things but we do them well. For example, did you know that not all authentic southern barbecue sauces are brown? Try our three classic sauces and decide for yourself which one you love most. Our bar menu has something for everyone (even a cracking vegetarian option) and with our smoker and rotisserie grill, we can cater for almost every occasion. Head Chef : Duncan Duncan, originally from Sydney is our passionate head chef with a vision for creating authentic â??homemadeâ?? American barbecue meals and sauces. If itâ??s smoked, spiced pulled, fried or grilled heâ??ll be all over it. Family friend â??Steeleâ?? first introduced Duncan to the beauty of southern cooking. Duncan enjoys a holiday house in the states and preparing a slow roast pork butt is cooked in an authentic southern pitt for about 8 hours.
