Gunya Tourism has formed a joint venture with the traditional Aboriginal community, Titjikala, to provide authentic indigenous experiences for tourists and to provide indigenous employment opportunities for locals within their remote environment. Fifty percent of profits are placed into the Titjikala Community Foundation, where proceeds are focused on health, education and school retention initiatives.Gunya Titjikala closes late November through January.
