Sally Rostas is the principal clinical psychologist at Mindsight Clinical Psychology. She has recently purchased Alternatives Consulting Psychologists and merged the two practices. She has always had a curiosity and interest in what shapes a person through their life and is dedicated to providing an integrated approach to mental health that encompasses the individual and their experiences. At Mindsight Clinical Psychology/Alternatives Consulting Psychologists we recognize that all of us experience a certain degree of stress in our lives and that sometimes we reach a point where our coping resources no longer meet these demands. Psychological therapy can support you to manage some of this burden, learning more effective ways to manage stress and preventing more serious emotional and physical complications. Mindsight Clinical Psychology/Alternatives Consulting Psychologists provides evidence-based psychotherapy for a range of conditions including: Depression Anxiety and Panic Bi-Polar Disorders Trauma Stress Management Anger Management Sleep Problems Adjustment Issues Life Transition Gay/Lesbian/Transgender Issues Loss and Grief Relationship Issues Medicare rebates are available if you have been diagnosed with a mental health disorder by your GP or psychiatrist. Fees can be negotiated on a sliding scale and bulk billing may be available. Please call us to discuss your concerns. Sally has specialized experience working with people living with mood disorders, such as depression and bi-polar disorder, at the Brisbane Mood Clinic, and currently works at the Keith Payne Unit, Greenslopes Private Hospital, with veterans of the Vietnam, Afghanistan and Iraq wars who are living with posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD). She is fully registered with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA), and is a full member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) Clinical College.
