The Australian Depression Institute was established to provide people with the necessary education for understanding the causes for anxiety and depressive illness and the skills and life philosophy required to set them selves free with drug free solutions. To date we have concentrated on clinical and postnatal depression, anxiety disorders and stress-related conditions with an extraordinary success rate, many thousands of people have re-claimed their quality of life with the ADI method. Our experience has clearly indicated the dominant role our belief system plays in our mental and physical health, to understand the reasons for illness we need to take into account a full mind-body connection. At the ADI we know that depression is not a weakness. It's not about feeling a little blue, or not quite yourself. It's about suffering from a disease. Depression, including its contribution to suicide and self injury, is the third largest individual health problem in Australia after heart disease and stroke, however you don't need to be another statistic, you can be free.
