Visit our website. Do you live on the Fraser or Sunshine Coast and own a property that might be of historical significance? Or do you just know your property has a long history? We will metal detect for valuables on your property for FREE. If we find something of value, how are the finds split? This will be assessed on a case by case basis but generally it's on a 50/50 share basis. The items found will be auctioned and the nett profit split. If you would prefer to keep the items found we are flexible and fair! "Australian Diggers" travel around the Fraser Coast region and beyond uncovering hidden treasure found in the backyards of everyday Australians. Modern day relic hunters Alec and his father Brian target areas such as old settlements and other historic sites in the hopes of finding bits of Australian history. They use state-of-the-art metal detectors to uncover artefacts and either sell or share their finds with the owners with the possibility of making a profit. People still to this day have buried money and valuables on their property for safe keeping due to various reasons (war time, distrust of banks and financial institutions). In some instances these valuables have not yet been uncovered for various reasons. These items may be able to be recovered if buried in a metal containers or if they are metal themselves. We have several metal detectors and are happy for the owner/s to join us searching their property. Join us as an Australian Digger If you are an experienced metal detectorist and can cover a particular region or help us if we have a job in your area forward your details including your experience, equipment used and region you can provide a service. If you would like a listing on our website it is only $100 which is a one-off charge. Effectively, you can use your page on our site as if it were your own website.
