Fictional tales inspired by Herodotus, the father of history,? and the Ancient Egyptian God Thoth, written by Australian Author, Deborah Sams. Set in 465BC, Part 1, The Emerald Tablets storyline traverses countries such as Athens, Ecbatana, Babylon,Turkey, Egypt, Heaven, Hell and the underground labyrinth of the Dead Kings of Egypt. All described in credible and fantastical detail, while the hero and heroine attempt to save the world from the Devil and Chaos Dragons, a plethora of mythical creatures attempt to thwart them at every turn. The sequel Thurii is set in Southern Italy where Herodotus accidentally unearths a demon worse than any others previously met and then has to ask the Gods for help. New characters appear in the sequel adding additional depth and dimension to the innovative dialogue and storyline. Both books are expected to be available in bookstores later in 2011. The Emerald Tablets cover shown, and novel were originally published and designed by Zeus Publications 2010.
