This applies to all pools both indoor and outdoor, in-ground and above-ground. Swimming pool safety barriers are also mandatory for all portable pools and spas deeper than 300 millimetres. As an alternative a Form 36 Notice of no pool safety certificate can be used for a 90 day period from the date of the sale of a house.
