SJT Constructions and SJT Builders were deregistered in February 2018 so Simon J Todd is trading without registration. He is also on his last legs with QBCC having racked up many demerit points! He also trades as Brizzie Fencing and Ozzy Pools and Landscapes which also are unregistered. He finally finished building a side fence after 10 weeks But he needed to engage another fencing contractor to do the pailings because he has no tools or machinery I managed to discuss his shithouse performance and unbelievable number of excuses with the labourer he had just employed and I agreed to pay his wages for the week once the fence was completed. Obviously I did not pay Simon for this as there was no chance his labourer was going to see any of it. Please at all costs do not engage this rip off merchant!

Takes 50% deposit then comes up with an unbelievabley long list of excuses why his contractors never show up - despite apparently booking them in to show up “first thing in the morning”, and constantly, CONSTANTLY lying through his teeth stating “the job is getting finished today”. After almost 3 weeks of the job meaning to commence and countless hours taking time off work (unpaid) waiting for him, we eventually had a contractor rock up for the day at 2pm. He tore down the fence. On a side note, he put some of the debri in our wheelie bin rather than the tip (Simon charges a tear down rate per linear metre for rubbish removal) meaning we ran out of room that week to fit our own household rubbish in. A minor inconvenience, but pretty rude since we are paying for it to be taken away. A few days later another contractor returned very late in the day with nothing but 3 posts and one bag of concrete for a fence that is 30m long ! We were told he was busy loading up all he materials and was “on his way” all day. You couldn’t make this shit up!! As others have explained in this thread he doesn’t pay his contractors. This guy was asking us questions about whether we had paid him and explained he had NOT been paid for any work he had undertaken for him thus far. We were not at all surprised when he never returned to finish the job the next day. Simon abandoned our contract and left us with no fence so the yard became inadequate to house our pets, and our house could not be marketed to he sold in such a state. We are left with the aftermath; a bunch of incorrectly placed posts only HALF concreted in to the post holes - with bricks and debri shoved in the place that concrete should be ! Unbelievably shonky!! He has played with fire too long now and will get his just deserts. Karma is a bitch Simon !

Yep agree with all of the above. Took 9 months to build our pool. Tiling surrounds absolutely s#$_thouse. Levels all wrong, starting to lift and crack. Water pools in sections.
