Mantis Kids Kung Fu conveys the traditional teachings of Seven Star Praying Mantis Kung Fu in a fun, practical style for children aged 5 to 13 yrs (Prep to year Seven). With an emphasis on the traditional code of ethics and mutual respect this class provides a strong foundation for modern day kids. The objectives of this class are to help children develop confidence, self awareness, self discipline, self defence and calming techniques. The classes are run by Sifu Brett Taylor who has over 25 years of martial arts experience including Judo, Kung Fu, Tai Qi and Brazilian Ju Jitsu. Brett also has a current Blue Card and First Aid Certificate. Brett is joined by his wife and mother of his 2 children - Chandra. Chandra has a Certificate 3 in Education, is a Qualified Calm For Kids Yoga Instructor and currently works as a Teacher Aide.
