Marianne is trained in both Hatha Yoga and the Vinyasa style of yoga and has been teaching for 20 years. She has a Diploma in Yoga Teaching and regularly undertakes further training. Classes are held at: Monday 9am - Sherwood Neighbourhood Centre, Thallon St, Sherwood. Monday 7pm - Christ Church Hall, Christ Church, St Lucia. Tuesday 9am - Chelmer Community Centre, Queenscroft St, Chelmer Thursday 8.30am - Chelmer Community Centre, Queenscroft St, Chelmer Her classes have a vinyasa style and encourage a balance of alignment and flow by linking static postures with dynamic flowing sequences around the movement of the breath. Classes include standing and balancing postures, seated postures, core strengthening, inversions and meditation. Marianne is passionate about the benefits of yoga and loves teaching yoga to beginners and serious practitioners alike. Students of all levels are welcome and Marianne ensures all students receive individual attention. Students are encouraged to find space in their body and practice to their 'edge' as they learn to listen to their bodies and be aware of the changes that their physical practice, breathwork and meditation can bring. - Opening Hours:
