Description:
At the Hyperdome Early Education Centre and Pre-school, we care for children aged from new-born to school age, before and after school care up to 12 years, with both centres holding up to 150 children per day. The centre boasts a new Emergent Curriculum which focuses on learning through natural curiosity, doing and self-directing, not through sitting before a teacher who imparts knowledge. Our educators facilitate learning and extend as much as possible right there and then as the child's discovery unfolds. As a result, children will develop a love for learning which will help them succeed in their future education. Their delight and spontaneous wonder should always be the first priority. Our staff is committed to provide the highest quality care, education and service for every child and family attending our centre. All our staff (qualified or studying) is encouraged to increase their skills and knowledge base by attending in-service training and seminars. We believe food ingredients should come from the kitchen, not from a lab. From this belief came the inspiration to open our own production kitchen, the Healthy Cooking Company which provides morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea throughout our Child Care centres. We aim to create and promote natural and wholesome food with a number of health benefits. As Educators, we believe in teaching children that physical activity can be fun as well as good for our bodies and minds. As a result we have employed the skills of a fully Qualified Personal Trainer to coordinate exciting exercise programs within our centres.
