Welcome to the oldest rain forest on Earth, Nicholas Fox & Daintree Safaris invite you to explore this fascinating area with one of the region's most experienced & professional guides. Our tour takes no more than six guests per day, traveling in the comfort of a Toyota 200 series Land Cruiser, featuring individual air conditioning & equal legroom throughout. We'll cross The Daintree River by cable ferry on our way to the Jindalba boardwalks. Enjoy a morning tea of homemade muffins & locally grown tea & freshly ground plunger coffee. See two World Heritage sites meet as the Daintree Rainforest & the Great Barrier Reef touch at Cape Tribulation's beach. Try a tropical delight at The Ice Cream Company then stop for a photo at the scenic Alexandra Lookout. Lunch? Well sit back relax & dine, a la carte, in any weather at The Daintree Tea House Restaurant. Enjoy a choice of Chicken, Beef, Vegetarian & allergy free meals or perhaps you'd like to try our tropical specialty, Barramundi. All dishes are served with salad, chips, fresh bread & a large array of tropical fruit. Your host will even talk you through all the exotic locally grown delicacies. They even have a licensed bar if you feel kike a "drink". After all, we are doing the driving. (Alcohol not included in tour price). Next we take you to The Daintree River Cruise Centre for a one hour guided wild life spotting cruise on the Daintree River. Perhaps we'll spot one of our giant Saltwater Crocodiles. Round off your day with a swim in the cool, clear waters of Mossman Gorge. With over 18 years local experience, Daintree Safaris knows how to show you the best of our beautiful region in style.
