I am a qualified designer,pattern maker, sample machinist, dressmaker, pattern grader & teacher. I have always loved the way you can take a piece of fabric & turn it into something amazing. Besides my clients that require general repairs, alterations or a complete garment made, I also teach those who wish to make clothing to fit themselves, but don't know where or how to start. A pattern that fits your body can be made by me, or I can teach you to make your own. I make many different things for my clients from; Formal, Bridal & Bridesmaids dresses. Samples, for swimwear companies & people who wish to start in the industry. Stretch wear & Lycra. Costumes - for performing bands & Star Wars group the 501st. Hospital walker arm pads & surgical leg supports, working with leather & vinyl. I work from a home studio, so I can be flexable with my time if & when required. We are approx 7ks from the city centre, so clients sometimes drop off after work. Please phone first. I have 14 sewing machines which do many different jobs, but I don't do curtians or upholstery for lounge seat covers. Gwenda - Opening Hours:
