As a QUALIFIED, EXPERIENCED music teacher, I provide piano lessons in my home-based, air-conditioned studio in Calamvale. This is centrally located to service students living in the southern suburbs of Brisbane (such as Stretton, Runcorn Heights, Drewvale, Browns Plains, Algester, Parkinson, Sunnybank Hills, Kuraby and Eight Mile Plains). I hold current teacher registration and a government blue card for working with children. Students of all ages and ability levels, from beginners up, are welcome. Lessons consist of learning repertoire from many genres (classical, pop, folk, jazz and music from stage and screen), aural training, sight reading and theory (activities and games). It is important to give encouragement and positive feedback, for the music pieces to be carefully graded in difficulty in order that success can be achievable and to make the learning experience FUN!
