Cuppa~T is a small, homebased business located in Toowoomba, QLD, which was started by sisters, Melissa and Kathy, in response to their own tea drinking desires. "We both love tea - all sorts of varieties of tea - but we do not like the high cost that many companies charge in exchange for quality tea." Melissa and Kathy felt that as tea had rapidly grown in popularity in the west, so had the costs associated with obtaining them. So they embraked on a mission to find high quality tea that they could sell to fellow tea lovers at a fair and affordable price. "We have to admit that the tea-tasting process as we tried to find the tea with the best taste was not really a hardship! And when we came across that perfect tasting cup of tea, it was bliss." In order to keep costs low, Melissa and Kathy started this online store through which to sell their teas. "No shop rental costs means that we can pass on lower costs to consumers and fellow tea lovers." Currently, Cuppa~T stocks and sells a wide variety of high quality, loose leaf teas, and the range is growing rapidly. Each tea comes in re-usable tins featuring colourful and attractive labels, and they can also be purchased in refillable bags.
