I am so excited to be able to share my passion for baking and creating beautiful cakes, cupcakes and all things sweet with you. Every celebration includes a cake to be shared with your family and friends. It is a tradition that started back in the Roman Empire times where cakes were actually just very thin bread. Wedding cakes were traditional honey cakes or sweet breads and were used as sacred objects. These sweet breads were offered up to the gods and then crumbled over the brides head by her groom so she would be blessed with abundance and fertility. Wedding guests then picked up pieces of the broken cake to keep for good luck. Cake today is very different, it isn't so much sacred as traditional to have a cake at any event we have, and often, it is the main centerpiece of your function. I cater for all occasions that you would want cake for, from Weddings, Engagements, Birthdays, Baby Showers, Bridal Showers, Parties, holidays...any occasion! I do a variety of cake styles and flavours to suit everybody's tastes and budget, just ask me.
