Chilanka Academy of Classical Dance is run by Mrs. Reshma Franklin. She is a trained classical dancer in Bharathanatyam (Kalakshetra Style) and Mohiniyaatam (Kerala Kalamandalam Style) and Kuchipudi. She received dance lessons from the age of 4 and still continues her passion for it. She did her first ever stage performance at the age of 7. She has performed Bharathnatyam, Mohiniyaatam and Kuchipudi on various stages in United Arab Emirates, India and Australia.. She has also performed various folk styles of dance like the Garba, Danadiya, Gidda, Rajasthani, Bengali, Kathak, Kuravanji, Thiruvathirakali and the Oppana. Apart from these, she has also done some semi classical performances. Her zeal as a choreographer and dance teacher was known from her school days where at times she used to choreograph dances for her school or to assist her dance gurus in training other students. - Additional Information:
