Collingrove Homestead (c1856) is a rare encountering; it was the original family home of John Angas one of South Australia�?�¢??s most influential pioneers. Collingrove was built for John�?�¢??s wife Suzanne and was conceived as a little piece of England. The magnificent building is set amongst the ancient gums of the Barossa Valley, home to some of the best wine in the world Guest accommodation is in the converted servant�?�¢??s quarters each one is individually styled. All rooms are furnished with French Provincial hand carved beds, fresh white linen and French Style Toile quilts. Five guest rooms are available, three with ensuite decorated in black and white tile another two rooms share an authentic bathroom complete with a claw foot bath. Guest amenities include a Hydrotherapy spa located in the old Carriage House across the quadrangle from the Guest Lounge which is complete with leather lounges and open fire. Collingrove is set on 14 acres, with manicured gardens and authentic paddocks. Your full Barossa breakfast is served on the front verandah overlooking the front gardens (weather permitting).
