'Tanglewood' Bed and Breakfast is a beautifully restored Federation home near the centre of Sheffield. Tanglewood is set in an acre of English style gardens from which you can see the majestic Mt Roland.There are three large bedrooms all with en-suites, two of which have queen-size beds, the third has a double and a single bed. All have remote televisions, hair dryers, alarm clock radios, iron and ironing board, individual heaters, electric blankets and doonas. There is a large formal lounge with an open fireplace, a great spot to relax and enjoy an evening coffee, or a complimentary sherry or port. Evening meals are available by arrangement, in the elegant dining room. There are other dining facilities within Sheffield.Tanglewood is ideally located for those who wish to explore the nearby wilderness area of Cradle Mountain, the caves at Mole Creek, walk the bush tracks of Mt Roland.Sheffield, apart from having many interesting murals, has several tourist attractions, a wonderful information centre and gallery. Fourteen kilometre drive from town, is Lake Barrington, famous for its world class rowing events.Come, stay and enjoy some Kentish community hospitality, in what is one of the most picturesque areas of Tasmania.
