Situated in the centre of the township, you will be close to cafes, hotels, supermarkets, Queenstown Heritage Tours, West Coast Wilderness Railway, Paragon Theatre, Galley Museum and all town facilities. The â??Anchorageâ?? main house is over 115 years old and has been fully renovated to compliment the original features. With magnificent pressed tin ceilings, lovely timber paneling and fireplaces it has 4 individual rooms with private bathrooms, as well as a full kitchen and lounge/dining room with a cosy wood fire to relax and mingle with other guests. New plush carpet, paint and plantation shutters throughout in August 2014 has given the house a lovely warm, homely feel. Sleeps up to 10. We also cater for those who prefer self-contained accommodation. Built in the early 1960â??s to house mine workers these 2 cottages are perfect for small families or groups. â??Waratah Cottageâ?? is right next door to â??Anchorageâ?? and has been completely renovated in Dec 2013. It has 2 bedrooms, bathroom with walk-in shower and kitchenette/lounge room. One Queen Bed and 2 King Single beds. Sleeps up to 4 â??Tea Tree Bungalow â??sits next door to Waratah Cottage and has 2 bedrooms, 2 shower cubicles and full kitchen facilities in the large dining/lounge/kitchen room.
