There is a fully equipped kitchen, dining and sitting rooms and two bathrooms. There is a garage attached to the house.In 1838 a settler family arrived in Westbury and built Egmont. It was their home for many generations and their furniture is still there. Memorabilia in the house represents milestones in the making of a new life in a new country. Sit by the crackling fire as the settlers once sat. After a hearty breakfast, from provisions in the modern kitchen, wander around Westbury and soak up the decades of history and the tranquillity of the town. Visit the Westbury Maze, White House Museum and Pearn's world famous Steam World. Drive to the beaches of Devonport or take a tour through the Mole Creek Caves. Westbury is an easy 20-minute drive from Launceston (35 kilometres/22 miles).
