I have been ripped off and deceived by Dodo. Then treated like a fool on top of it. There has been so much deception over the last month it has affected my health. There has also been many harassing calls but no service or goods. This has been going on for over a month so far. PH: 0497126764

I signed up with DODO to provide me home internet on 9th of August 2016 but I got message on my mobile that they will send technician on 17th of October 2016. How SAD does any one wait more than two months to join this service?????????

Click here to Reply or Forward John Barton 14 Sep (4 days ago) to JR Following the call from Mike to escalate my problem and yours too i am concerned some ridiculous wishy washy reply will follow lets not let that happen it will only infuriate me more. 1) Is it my fault when i was told NBN would not cost any money all existing phones would work as they where and dodo knows well that would not be the case. 2)Am i being unreasonable to not expect the poor unacceptable service would go on for 96 days the coldest months in Australia with temperatures hovering around 5 degrees in the early hours of the day and plummeting again in the evening June, July, August i had to try and make phone calls cramped up and cold in a little spot in the corner of the lounge room no office desk 30 meters away from the comforts of the office it would have been impossible to heat this huge open plan lounge room. 3) I reported the problem 4 days after the installer left but in that time all phones worked.Being assured an installer would be back within 14 days i accepted that BUT NOT 96 days!!!!!! 4) I missed numerous important phone calls and never heard the phone ringing for family phone calls and on my birthday. Having had two hips replaced recently two major back operations (both unsuccessful) i fell in my haste to answer the phone on numerous occasions being some 30 meters from the computer and comfort and warmth of my office i am basically house bound and my computer and phone give me much pleasure and enjoyment through out the day. 5) The matter has been advised to dodo in Melbourne and if dodo in Manila cannot resolve it fair and amicably i will CERTAINLY fire off legal action in the form of a summons remembering Joe from the technical department assured me i would be paid $50 dollars per hour while i did not have the service prior to believing Dodo all would work and at no additional expense.(PLEASE do not destroy tape confirming this) I Look forward to a reasonable per hour offer of compensation as as per my previous email 50 pesos per hour is my offer i put on the table. Finally how could i have averted this problem and the 96 days wait noting i had it all fixed at my expense with 3,5 hours of the departure of the non lazy NBN installer who was courteous conscientious and did an excellent job but he did admit it was obvious why the original installer bawked at doing it right the first time as it took him 4.5 hours when the first lazy cowboy installer did whole job in 35 minutes incidentally two things each installer subcontractors paid same money for each installation and i have his details should it be necessary to call upon him as a witness in court . Have been having issues with Dodo from day one. After relocating from Vic to WA, Dodo was relantlesly calling me to sign up. Took 6wks after signing up and paying to get connected. I the meantime no updates or anything. Had to call them to find out what was happening. After getting connected, I can\'t make international calls which are the main reason I got the package. Called to the \"Technical desk\" for help. They blamed the receiving telco on the other end. I have called the telco on the other end to find out whats going on. Got an explanation straight away. Dodo are using \"grey routing\" to connect the calls to my international destination. Grey route are illegal connections through third parties in other conntries like Afganistan, Angola, India and Mozambique. As these are illegal connections aimed at avoid paying the right rates to the receiving telco, the receiving telco simply wont connect them. I have gone back to Dodo, and yes, still not fixed. The \"technical help desk\" simply doesnt understand whats going on. He can only promise to escalate the issue and gives a reference number (TECH5056). This is the second time the issue has been handled this way. Not resolved. Come for the date for the bill payment the promptely debit my bank account. Dodo don\'t seem to understand that when one pays for a service the expect to get it. Wonder if there is any way to get this fixed. Just leaves one feeling cheated.

My comments are, I rang Dodo on 16th January to get ADSL internet connection. A technician came to my unit on 10th February to do something outside my unit in the meter room. Dodo, then emailed me and told me I now had the internet. Dodos initial email to me in January stated that they supply the modem. I never received a modem. In 5 months I waited to see if Dodo would have the intelligence to realize that I had no modem. No once did they ring me. Dodo are an idiot organization.

Just have to say to everyone who has an account with Dodo that this is the worst company I have ever had any dealings with and maybe you should consider changing providers if you want customer service and a decent product for example my mother is 92 years old and lives alone as that’s what she prefers rather than a nursing home recently I changed from telstra based on cost but what a mistake five days ago somehow her ADSL( which she doesn’t use) was disconnected which meant she no longer has a landline to make calls or receive calls after numerous calls to the Philippines to find out why this has happened no one knows and no one knows how to rectify the problem so in the meantime a 92 year old lady with medical conditions is unable to call triple 0 or her family because of Dodo’s incompetence what an absolute disgrace remember people you get what you pay for and this company is a disgrace and shouldn’t be allowed to trade in Australia and if anyone can message me the address of head office in Melbourne it would be appreciated the Philippino lady could only give me a PO Box as no one in her department knows what the address of head office is what a joke don’t worry Dodo I’ll find out where you are and I’m coming to see you in person seriously people this company is beyond a joke
