WHAT IS REIKI ? Reiki is a Japanese technique developed by Dr Mikao Usui which amplifies and intensifies the power of touch. It promotes balance and harmony in your spirit, mind and body. Reiki is the natural, simple and powerful practice of energetic healing. Clients have often reported a sense of relaxation and feelings of peace, security and wellbeing, promoting increased energy and a reduction of stress. Reiki can also assist in injury recovery and dissolving emotional issues. Rei = Highest spiritual consciousness, the universal energy inside and outside all living things. Ki = Life force energy, this energy promotes physical, emotional, mental and spiritual harmony. The treatment is about one hour long and is individually tailored to the clientÃ¢??s needs and condition. The client remains fully clothed at all times. The process is one where the client draws the energy into their own body and on an unconscious level directs the energy to where it is needed.
