Melbourne CPAP Services (MCS) was founded in July 2003 by Jeff Collings. Jeff had been diagnosed with OSA (obstructive sleep apnea) years ago and was frustrated trying to access parts for his CPAP equipment, which is vital to the success of his treatment. Upon finding there was a general lack of service and support in the industry, Jeff decided to commence business providing seven day a week services, supplying equipment and fitting patients diagnosed with OSA. There are now 19 locations in Victoria offering quiet and private facilities located so that you do not have to travel far and in addition, MCS offer mobile support for those who would prefer a home visit. Due to growth and demand, MCS now has 8 trained CPAP therapists with medically relevant backgrounds and an emphasis on interpersonal skills and empathy. Product training, clinical support, good relationships with Sleep Disorders Department personnel and a can-do philosophy adds up to a great team. Our fitting and education service is thorough (usually 1-2 hours) to ensure the client feels at ease with the process of using and maintaining their equipment. Our trained and experienced therapists have extensive knowledge of all the equipment supplied and can troubleshoot problems associated with the early stages of using mask and flow generators (pumps). MCS Sleep and Snoring Solutions supply all major brands of masks, pumps and accessories at a competitive price to ensure the CPAP user has an extensive choice of equipment. We require a prescription from a Physician for CPAP products prior to providing or fitting equipment to new users. MCS Sleep and Snoring Solutions has expert education and information on all equipment sold and compliance issues. MCS does nit offer medical diagnosis, advice or clinical opinion, which should always be sought through a suitably qualified medical professional.
