My special Interests are as follows: Anxiety Grief and Loss Sexual Problems Eating or Weight Issues Stress Addictions Anger Self Esteem Sleep Problems Depression Fears and Phobias I hold a Master of Social Science (Human Services- Counselling), Grad Cert in Bereavement Counselling and Intervention, Dip Community Services (Alcohol and Other Drugs), Dip Health Counselling and Cert IV in Hypnotherapy. I am a clinical member of the Counselling and Psychotherapy Association Victoria (CAPAV) , Clinical member of the National Association of Loss and Grief (NALAG) and a Provisional Member of Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA). I have undergone extensive university training and experience working in community settings as well as private practice. I will be commencing further studies at RMIT in 2013, Master of Social Work. I am current in my ideas and working models as I undertake sessional teaching of post graduate and undergraduate counselling students. In 2012 at the invitation of the Guangdong Provincial Number Two Hospital in Guangzhou, PR China I have presented lectures to medical practitioners on Diabetes and Depression, and Treatment Approaches to Drug and Alcohol Dependence in Australia. I also provided counselling in China. I have a Medibank Private provider number and have applied for a Work Cover provider number.
