The operators of this group come from a range of backgrounds and combined have over 60 years of dog handling and/or training experience. Having been around dogs and multiple community dog clubs our team saw an opportunity to start up a dog club with a difference. A dog club which focussed on training the person rather than the dog, a club with a friendly atmosphere that caters for normal dog owners who really just want a well behaved dog who could perhaps do a couple of little party tricks and who could happily accompany their human to the local cafe for a coffee or to the local dog beach without being a complete embarrassment. A group of 18 great friends got together and Social Dogs was the result. Now we are proud to have the privilege of passing on the skills that we have learnt over the years to the community and teaching other people to have great fun with their best friends whilst at the same time teaching their dogs how to behave and become well mannered companions. Our trainers have a range of backgrounds including Accredited Dog trainers, members of the Victorian Canine Association (VCA) and Seeing Eye Dog instructors. All of our trainers and team volunteer their time to Social Dogs. - Opening Hours:
