On a hot summers day whilst attending the races in the Victorian country town of Ararat; it was amidst the dust and thunder of hooves that I was suddenly inspired to ride race horses. I had already been in the saddle for over 15 years and was familiar with handling horses, but this seemed like the new challenge I was looking for. It was during this new phase of my career as a jockey that I discovered how much impact; injury and discomfort a rider can experience. In an effort to reduce this discomfort but unable to find suitable equipment, information and advice, in the one convenient location, I was inspired to create Equire Sports?. Equire Sports? promotes a lifestyle that encourages the safe involvement in all equestrian activities.
