Snake Kung Fu is primarily geared towards achieving good self defense outcomes for people much smaller and weaker than their opponents; following the tatic of moving with the force rather than against it. Defense's in snake Kung Fu often involve neutralizing and locking the initial attacking limb in order to control the whole body of the attacker. Most techniques are taken from Snake Kung Fu, but components from a number other martial arts are used. Students learn in a fun non-compedtiditive environment, which includes some training in Qigong(Chinese yoga). Students are given sports posture correction analysis, with posture problems resolved using both western and eastern exercises. Snake Kung Fu is highly reliant on a high degree of mobility rather than just flexibilty, using spiraling vectors of force to over come opponents. Like a natural snake, Snake Kung Fu has light fast, spiraling and vicious movement that aims to stick to the opponents once contact is made in a fight. Students learn a lot of Chin Na( traditional Chinese grappling) This involves learning defenses and counter attacks against grabs to the arms, chest,head/hair, throat, and bear hug from behind.
