Birrarung Yoga is nestled in Warburton of the picturesque Upper Yarra Valley; a place noted for its creative community of musos and artists, delicious wines and organic farm produce. Birrarung Yoga offers Vinyasa Power Flow, Hatha Vinyasa, Liilaa Yoga for Kids (children 5-10 yrs), Pre-natal Yoga, and Mums & Babies/Toddlers (0-4 yrs) Yoga and pranayama/meditation classes. In the warmer months, yoga classes are held outside in the surrounds of the 7.5 hectare property. Birrarung Yoga classes are suitable for students of all yoga levels. In addition to the classes, Birrarung Yoga offers weekend and weeknight intensives, seminars presented by spiritual masters and personal development guest speakers. Satsang evenings and meditation/philosophy discussions are held monthly. Birrarung Yoga offers a corporate and private consultation Living Yoga program for classes, health, wellbeing and lifestyle enhancement. All of the classes taught at Birrarung Yoga are held at Upper Yarra Community Environment Park, a beautiful 7.5 hectare community property. Kelly Hoehne, Principal and Instructor at Birrarung Yoga, has been practicing and living yoga for 18 years. She holds an Advanced Diploma of Yoga Teaching from Australian Yoga Academy and is a registered member of Yoga Teachers Alliance Australia. Kelly currently teaches yoga to school age children at various primary schools in the Yarra Valley. She also works with The Mind Warrior Group to cross-train elite Martial Artists to further develop their body awareness and infuse their 'game' with balance, effective health and injury prevention through yoga.
