Lunch time basketball is a modified basketball program with modified equipment to introduce basketball and team sport to school children in grade 3 and 4. Learning basketball from an experienced coach its a great advantage.The kids have the opportunity to learn the skills of basketball in a fun and safe way.Learning the rigth technique of dribbling,shooting,and moving with the ball,in a young age is a strong foundation for all other invasion sports.Improving eye and hand coordination and concentration in the basketball court ,will help your child in the clasroom with reading,writing,and other learning skills. Lunch time basketball improves fundamental motor skills used in physical education and in primary school sports as:catching,throwing,jumping,running,vertical jump,overhead throw. The benefits of the lunch time basketball program help: Develop self esteem. Develop resilience. Develop ability to follow instructions and cooperate with others. Improve eye and hand coordination and general spacial awarness. Getting active and familiar controlling the ball and the body in different game situations. Using the SCT teaching method for sport and physical education in basketball developed by Andres Olascoaga provides amazing benefits for your kids. All the above skills learnt in our basketball program are transferable to other sports and are the fundamental factors in kids learning how to play minor games and sport in primary school. Easy set up, dont have to drive your kids around for after school activities, as a father of 4 children I know!!!!
