Bayview House is set in three acres of garden on a gentle hillside, overlooking Wilsons Promontory and Shallow Inlet. Bed and Breakfast or self-contained holiday accommodation is available. There are three private suites within the large house, all with breath-taking Promontory views. The two upstairs suites have their own kitchenettes. You can look after yourselves or come downstairs for a cooked country breakfast. In the words of some of our guests to date: "A beautiful house in an idyllic setting with spectacular views. This is a truly superb place to stay! The suites are equipped with everything a traveller could want. The hospitality was wonderful, warm and generous. The stunning views, magnificent breakfast and tranquillity provide a welcome break and are a perfect compliment to the wonders of the Prom." The Age, October 2005, '52 weekends away', an annual independent guide to the best short breaks: "It is a modern house with huge windows that make the most of the stunning views..... A beautiful native garden surrounds the large property...... Indoors, someone has a flair for colour and the effect is warm and bright...... This is a gem of a place in a beautiful part of the world. We'd happily return, even in the rain." For our International visitors - Ellen speaks fluent German, Dutch and Swiss German. Paul speaks English and Australian, (although he did once speak Cornish and Italian). If you are after a rejuvenating holiday, close to beaches, surf, national parks, farm and native wildlife, you've come to the right place. To encourage a relaxing end to a good weekend, we have a late, 1pm, Sunday checkout with a pancake brunch available.
