At OzWide gutter cleaning, we use our trailer mounted vacuum system. With 60 metres of hose, we are able to reach any property. Using a vacuum system means that the mess is taken away. This allows the gutters to flow properly again and reduces the risk of the gutters getting blocked or rusting. Trained to the highest standard! Our staff and contractors have been trained in working at heights, including the use of a harness and life lines. We also have extension arms to use with the vacuum hose, to eliminate the need to take risks in reaching difficult areas. Other services. After doing this for many years, we have had to solve a lot of customers problems. We are able to supply and install gutter guard to stop rubbish going into the gutters, and we can help remove pests such as birds or possums. Gutter Guard. We can supply and install gutter guard from as little as $8 per metre, or up to $35 per metre. There are a number of options, including the cheap plastic type, or a similar galvanised product. There is the hedgehog type product that fits into the gutters or the stainless steel fireproof mesh that is screwed to the top of the gutters & fitted to the roof. Bird removal. Birds often create a lot of mess in the gutters, either from nesting or just the droppings. Cleaning the blocked gutters is the first step, then keeping them out is the next step. Installing gutter guard can help, however sometimes more drastic measures are required. We can discourage the birds by installing spikes or other products on the roof. We can also trap pigeons in order to remove them. Possum removal. Possums often enter the roof through a loose tile near the gutter. Once the gutter is cleaned and the entrance is closed, the possum may still be inside. This can be fixed by installing a temporary one way door in place of a roof tile. This allows the possum to get out, but not back in.
