Move Records is studio ideally suited to acoustic recording. We have an excellent Yamaha grand piano. Singers, in particular, love the spacious natural acoustic. Pianists love the piano. We have recorded small choirs, guitarists, flutes, harps, percussion in a wide variety of classical and jazz styles. We are also a recording label that concentrates primarily in jazz and classical music, particularly Melbourne-based musicians and composers. Many of our own recordings take place here, as it was purpose-built to deliver the luscious natural acoustic keenly sought by many artists. It has a reverberation time that can vary between one and two seconds, making it perfect for any small groups or solo performers. We also offer on-location recording services, transfer of old records and cassettes to CD, and video copied to DVD.
