We offer classes for the beginner to advanced, from ages 2 1/2 to adult. Classes in ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, acrobatics, contemporary, musical theatre, WestEnd wigglers, preschool programs and tiny tumblers, private dance lessons, VCE/VET Dance and drama, private and group singing lessons, guitar and keyboard. Exams offered through Australian Teachers of Dancing. Performance opportunities offered to students throughout the year, as well as an Annual Concert. Local, State and National Competitions offered. 2013 saw members of our Elite Performance Troupes take home many prizes from local competitions, as well as Melbourne Showcase State Championships, with 25 students representing the school at the National Dance Championships in January,. Our unique range of classes are designed to cater for either those who are in it just for fun, fitness and friends or the dedicated dancer ready to step up and take their dancing to a whole new level in our Elite Training Programs! 2014 has seen the start of our Extension Training Program for Secondary School students. This program is open to students aged 12-18, and attending secondary school. Students are able to attend their own Secondary Schools, or attend WestEnd Performing Arts College doing schooling via distance education, and dance from 2pm each day, as well as Saturdays, and study all aspects of dance. This program is by audition only, which will be conducted in October/November 2014. WestEnd Performing Arts has established a friendly, supportive environment catering for children from 21/2 yrs to adults at a variety of ability levels. We offer an extensive timetable of classes teamed with experienced and dedicated teaching staff. For more information on any of our programs, please contact the studio for an entrance interview. Open days for enrolment are being held in late January for all new students.
