twotonmax is the contemporary re-incarnation of an industrial warehouse in the evolving precinct of North Melbourne. The venue's working-class roots stretch back to when this area was first reclaimed from Melbournes river flats. A vintage overhead crane (two ton max capacity of course) is a striking reminder of the venue's hardworking past. Recently the venue has been sensitively converted to accommodate a range of events from intimate celebrations to large-scale exhibitions. twotonmax boasts a stunning polished concrete floor, large marble bar and an abundance of natural light throughout the space. The venue can accommodate up to 200 guests seated and in excess of 300 people for cocktail-style functions. twotonmax is located three kilometres from the Melbourne CBD with plenty of on-street parking and close proximity to Macaulay train station.
