Dr Diana Tran graduated from Medicine at the University of Melbourne in 1995 and subsequently worked at St Vincent�??s Hospital, Melbourne. She undertook dermatology training in Sydney, NSW. She trained and worked in dermatology in Sydney (Skin and Cancer Foundation, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, St Vincent�??s Hospital, Liverpool Hospital and Royal North Shore Hospital) and spent one year in the United Kingdom (Royal Hospital Haslar) and another year in Singapore (the National Skin Centre) prior to working in Melbourne. Dr Tran is also a consultant Dermatologist at the Melanoma Clinic, The Skin and Cancer Foundation Inc., where she supervises dermatology registrars in managing patients with complicated or advanced melanomas. Dr Tran has published a number of articles in both national and international dermatology journals. She has been invited to give several educational talks to other medical practitioners about a variety of dermatological conditions such as common skin diseases, Asian skin, pigmentary skin diseases, eczema, acne and skin cancers Dr Tran is a very versatile and approachable Dermatologist who enjoys both the medical and surgical aspects of dermatology. She is happy to see all patients regarding general dermatology ( acne, eczema, psoriasis and skin cancers) as well as consult patients with cosmetic concerns (eg. pigmentation, premature ageing, scarring, facial blemishes and birth marks). Dr Tran's clinic in Toorak offers cosmetic procedures, such as dermal fillers and wrinkle injections and there is access to laser therapy if necessary. Dr Tran is a competent skin surgeon and regularly excises melanomas, skin cancers and benign lesions.
